Dear Dugout Soccer Managers,
🚀 We are presenting to you the Season 2.2 Update as an addition to the previous Season 2 and Season 2.1 Updates.

NEW FEATURES
1. Added colored straps to league tables, which represent the number of spots for each international competition. Champions Cup - dark blue, International cup - orange, Conference cup - green.
Solid straps mean direct spots in the competition, while straps with diagonal lines represent spots in the qualification. There will be one two-leg qualification round. The winning team from the Champions Cup qualification round earns a spot in the competition, whereas the losing team receives a spot in the International Cup. The same logic applies for the International Cup. The losing team from the Conference Cup qualification is eliminated from further competition.
In this season only a number of spots have been added manually, taking into consideration several factors regarding manager activity within a region/nation. From next season, the spots will be automatically allocated based on CC score (taking into account all three competitions). More details about international competitions will be released in Season 3 Update Notes.
2. Added colored straps for promotion/relegation of teams in the league competition. As in the previous season, not all teams marked with a red strap will definitely be relegated to the lower division, it is only applicable when all teams that earn a promotion are managed teams.
3. Added notifications to alert you if your VIP subscription or extra team is expiring. The notification is received 10 days and 3 days before the expiration date.
4. Added special offer with additional 10% for each 💎 DS Diamonds purchase during the Winter Holidays (25.12. - 7.1.).
5. Fixed an issue that appeared on newer models of smartphones, where full view was not available on several pages when the screen was rotated to landscape mode.
6. Massive promotion of the game will begin in Season 3 or 4, until which time we will implement all important new features. From that time you can expect many new managers to join Dugout Soccer.
7. Announced new competition - Diamond Cup (special friendly competition). The competition will take place 2 times a year. More details will be published within 3 days.
8. The announced End of Year Awards, for the best teams and managers for the year 2026, will start from Season 3 and will end with the last final of all three international competitions in the year 2026. Teams will be ranked according to the CC score (taking into account all three competitions) won during 2026. Managers will be ranked by the following system: 100% CC score of the best team from the manager (with the most CC score won during 2026) + 80% CC score of the second-best team from the manager (with the second-most CC score won during 2026) + 60% CC score of the third-best team from the manager (with the third-most CC score won during 2026) + 40% CC score of the fourth-best team from the manager (with the fourth-most CC score won during 2026) + 20% CC score of the fifth-best team from the manager (with the fifth-most CC score won during 2026). The same applies for any additional team from the manager. Best in both rankings will receive a special real life awards sent to their home addresses 🏆.
