Is it possible to include a sell-on clause for a player developed in the youth academy, ensuring a percentage of any future transfer fee for the original club?
We were thinking about that and loans etc, but there are some hidden downsides of implementing them, so we didn't complicate and kept them away. If some young player has very high potential but not good skills, he will be scouted while on transfer list and most likely paid decently.
I had thought about a reward that the first owner would receive for every sale of that player up to a maximum age of 21–22. So if that player is sold five times before turning 21, the first owner would receive five rewards.
Thank you for the reply
